Tour 1: A 45 minute to hour ride at sand dunes in Jaisalmer in our Jeep
Fare: Rs 550 per person
- Arrive at Sam sand dune & meet our team at Dangri Desert Safari Camp.
- Sit in a Mahindra Thar jeep that will take you to a designated area at Sam for Jeep Safari.
- Enjoy the jeep safari ride at 30-60 meter tall sand dunes for 45 to 60 minutes.
- End the tour, back at the starting point.

Tour 2: A 30 minute quad bike tour at Sam sand dunes Jaisalmer
Fare: Rs 1000 per person
- Here again you will 1st arrive at our desert office at Dangri desert safari camp.
- From here we will reach the sand dunes dedicated to Quad bikes.
- Enjoy a minimum 30 minute ride on dunes in a quad bike.
- And we will be back at the starting point to finish this tour.

Important points to know before planning dune bashing in Jaisalmer
Dune bashing timings
Dune bashing in Jaisalmer is available either:
- Morning (Sunrise to noon)
- Evening (4 pm to 7 pm)
Most travellers prefer evening dune bashing in Jaisalmer sand dunes area, as after finishing this activity, they visit a desert camp to enjoy dance program with buffet dinner.
Dune bashing location
All dune bashing activity is done at Sam sand dunes, and exactly at Salkha area, just next to Sam.
Starting point of our dune bashing tour is our office at Dangri Desert Safari Camp.
And to reach this location, you can either hire a car from us, like our Jaisalmer to Sam taxi package, or arrive with your own car.
Dune bashing fare
We offer three types of dune bashing, these are:
- In Mahindra Thar jeep
- In Quad bike
- In Toyota Fortuner
The fare in above vehicles for dune bashing is Rs 550, Rs 1000 & Rs 1250 per person.
Terms & conditions:
- This tour isn’t ideal for pregnant women, or heart patient.
- One need to either pay in advance or at the campsite.
- Its best to have a light lunch before dune bashing tour.
